2008
– Business Committee for the Arts Award (Midsized Business)
The Kansas City BCA is an affiliate of the National
Business Committee for the Arts, Inc, a membership organization bringing business in the arts together since 1967. The Kansas
City organization was founded in 2001 as a program of the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City, with a mission to promote
partnerships between business and the arts by increasing awareness of the arts in the business community and offering services
that benefit member businesses and their employees.
2004 – Kansas City Beautiful Award "The George"
– The Smith Residence
Since 1993 The Kessler Society has sponsored the annual Kansas City Beautiful "George"
Awards, formerly Boulevard Beautification Awards. The purpose of the awards is to encourage Kansas City property owners to
aesthetically enhance and landscape their properties for the betterment of the community.
Four properties from
each of the six City Council Districts are recognized. One property is selected to receive the Mayor's Choice Award. Awards
can be given to single family residents, multi-family homes, apartments, businesses, institutions or churches.
2002 – The Environmental Improvement Grand Award by the Associated Landscape Contractors of America for
National Headquarters of the Golf Superintendents Association of America
2000 - Recognized as one of the
top 20 Small Landscape Companies in the United States by Landscape Management magazine.
1999 –
Professional Grounds Management Society Grand Award for Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado
